Kudos for reporting on 'good things'
The Daily Herald is to be commended for listing on its Dec. 24 front page at least three good things happening at Christmas. That fifth grader raising money for "special bikers" is one. The picture of the interfaith family is another.
And the nurse giving a kidney to a patient is still another. I was heartened further when I came to the sports page and saw the professional sports teams with nothing scheduled for Dec. 24 or 25. There were some good things - dare I say religious things - happening at Christmas.
