Play to begin at theater in Des Plaines

Big Noise Theatre Company presents Tom Dudzick's play "Over The Tavern" weekends from Friday to Feb. 3 at the Prairie Lakes Theatre, 515 E. Thacker St., Des Plaines. Ten-year-old Brooks Whitlock plays Rudy Pazinski, the outspoken protagonist of the play. The other Pazinski family members include David Whitlock -- Brooks' real-life father -- as Chet, Kathie Keefe Howski as Ellen, William Wilson as Eddie, Olivia Palak as Annie and Will Boersma as Georgie. Ann Stuart plays Sister Clarissa.
