BGHS multicultural show, 7 p.m. tonight

Buffalo Grove High School will bring the music, dance, and performance style of many countries throughout the world to its stage on Friday, Nov. 20, at 7 p.m. as the Multicultural Show is presented in the school theater.

A variety of song, instrumental music, and dance from South India, Nigeria, Poland, the Philippines, Asia, Turkey, Italy, and other lands will be featured, as the stage comes alive with vivid ethnic costumes and world music.

Members of the Multicultural Club, sponsored by counselors Polly Knudsen and Elizabeth Pilarski, will perform, stage manage, usher, and sell desserts, in this annual evening of global entertainment.

While there is no admission charge, donations of canned foods will be gratefully accepted at the door. All items will be donated to a local food pantry. For more information call Pilarski or Knudsen at (847) 718-4000.
