88 cited for underage drinking in Peoria
PEORIA -- Illinois State Police say they cited 88 underage young adults at a weekend drinking party in Peoria and arrested a 21-year-old resident of the home on felony drug charges.
State troopers say they were checking the West Bluff area near the Bradley University campus early Sunday morning when they came upon the party.
Plainclothes officers arrested William Betke and booked him on charges of the manufacturing and delivery of marijuana, production of marijuana plants, possession of marijuana and obstructing justice.
Officers say 88 partygoers ranging in age from 17 to 20 were cited with a city municipal ordinance violation notice for consumption of alcohol by a minor. Two others were arrested for obstructing or resisting an officer.
