Buffalo Grove bank robbed

A Buffalo Grove bank was robbed Monday after a man in a ski mask displayed a gun.

Police are looking for a white man who is 5'6", of medium build and was wearing a dark leather coat, dark slacks and dark shoes at the time of the robbery.

The man entered the Harris Bank, 1190 N. McHenry Road in Buffalo Grove, at 1:23 p.m. Monday, police said.

After demanding money and displaying a handgun under his jacket, he exited the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

Nobody was injured during the robbery, police said.

Police and the FBI will compare information with other agencies to check if the robbery is related to any others.
