Cops: Plano senior had pounds of pot
Authorities charged a 70-year-old Plano man Tuesday with possession of more than four pounds of marijuana.
William T. Cordray, of the 300 block of Gregory Lane, faces up to seven years in prison if convicted cannabis possession 2,000 to 5,000 grams, a Class 2 felony, according to Kane County court records.
Cordray was charged through the Hampshire Police Department, which did not respond to calls for comment. It appeared he had not been arrested as of Tuesday afternoon, officials at the county jail said.
According to the charges, Cordray is accused of possessing between 4.4 and 11 pounds of marijuana. He has no prior felonies in Kane County, according to court records. No attorney was listed.
