Steal this look: "It's Complicated" kitchen garden
Are you planning to see the Meryl Streep-Alec Baldwin comedy, "It's Complicated," which opened on Christmas Day? If so, you might fall in love with Spanish colonial house, kitchen garden and potting shed that Streep's character owns.
An editor at Remodelista.com fell in love with it and figured you might, too, so she put together some items she found that will help you recreate the look in a feature the site calls "Steal This Look."
The ideas came from the film's seasoned set decorator Beth Rubino, an accomplished gardener herself who owns a 52-acre farm in Connecticut, according to the post on Remodelista.com. Rubino travels back and forth between Los Angeles and the East Coast, so she has a wide and deep list of sources, some familiar, some obscure: White Flower Farm, Rolling Greens, Peddler's, Berkshire Home & Antiques, Jollys Garden Clogs, and Jamali Garden.
Here are a few of the items featured in the post.
