Dan Regna choice of county coroner
In past elections, I have never formally backed a primary candidate. The GOP primary for state's attorney is such an important one I felt I had to come forward and announce my choice of Dan Regna.
Having served in the coroner's office for the past 27 years, I have worked with many different county officials. Some of them were the people I had voted for and some were not, but we always worked together to get the job done. These last three years, though, have been a real "trial." Neither I nor my staff have received any support from the present state's attorneys office and trying to work with them has been most difficult.
During the administration of the prior state's attorney, I had the opportunity to work with Dan Regna. We did not always agree on everything, but I could call on him with questions I might have and I had a good working relationship with him and other prosecutors.
Dan Regna knows the law and the workings of that office. He is able to work with all of the members of the law enforcement team to get the job done. Dan did not care if he was working on a high- profile case or a small one.
He believes that when someone does something wrong, they should have to answer for their actions.
Dan is a professional and above all, is honest and ethical. Dan cares about the people in this county and wants to work for us.
Please vote Dan Regna for McHenry County State's Attorney.
