Rosemont approves 15th year of property grants

The Rosemont village board recently approved funding for homeowner grants. Based on the value of a home, the maximum grant amount a property owner can apply for is $2,908. Residents must pay income tax on the grants. Applications are now available at village hall. This is the 15th year for the property grant program. The money is intended to help homeowners maintain their properties but they can also choose to spend it elsewhere.
