COD building evacuated after gas leak

A College of DuPage building was evacuated this morning after a landscaping crew caused a gas leak by hitting a service line.

Glen Ellyn Fire Department officials said nobody was injured and five people were treated at the scene by paramedics.

The technology building on the school's Glen Ellyn campus remains closed but the rest of the campus is operating normally.

NICOR is working to secure the gas line, officials said.
