News story found lacking
This is in regard to the article on the front page of the Sept. 30 Daily Herald titled, "A new way to plan for future" written by James Fuller. Mr. Fuller and the St. Charles city government appear to be on the same page when it comes to wordsmithing and buzz words. They score 100 on that account.
Once you get past phrases like: strategic plan, mission statement, residents in touch, achieving goals, environmentally friendly, accountability, tracking success and failures, the true content of this article equals zero! I especially like the quote from one city official, "Strategic plan is about attitude and approach." Say what?
