Area running stores take honors

NAPERVILLE - Three area athletic retailers were named in the Top 50 Best Running Stores at The Running Event in Austin, Texas. Naperville Running Co. in Naperville took top honors while Runners High 'n Tri in Arlington Heights and Fleet Feet Chicago were named on the Top 50 list. "We're honored to be part of the top running specialty stores and certainly in great company, said Mark Rouse, co-owner of Runners High 'n Tri and a 13-time Ironman finisher. The nomination and voting consisted of a yearlong evaluation, including "secret shopping," customer feedback and vendor relations.
