Calls falling on deaf ears?
We'd like to purchase a hearing aid for U.S. Rep. Peter Roskam. His constituents have been calling and calling his offices both in Washington and back home in DuPage County.
We have been consistently urging our congressman to vote in favor of national health care reform with a strong public option. But he turned his back on the residents of his home district. Why? Is he deaf? If not, then whose voice is he listening to? Why?
At least we will provide Rep. Roskam with a new hearing aid, because we want to be heard. We deserve that much.
