WBA changes name

WAUKEGAN - The Waukegan Business Association announced it changed its name to the City of Waukegan Chamber of Commerce. The WBA made the decision for the name change to avoid the long standing confusion between the association and Waukegan Main Street. The missions of the organizations are different. The Waukegan Business Association was founded in 2004 with a mission to promote business growth in Waukegan, to serve members with personal and professional development opportunities and to affect public policy decisions to the benefit of the Waukegan business community. The new office is at First Midwest Bank, 214 Washington Street.
