Dist. 214 is honored for technology performance

Northwest Suburban High School District 214 was a winner in the 6th annual Digital School Districts Survey, recognizing school districts and school boards with exceptional use of digital technology.

District 214 placed 4th in its size category (enrollment of 2,501-15,000).

"The submittals were judged not only on the Web presence, but on crisis planning, online programs for the community, articulation, technology planning, and school board presence, amongst other areas," said Keith Bockwoldt, District 214's director of technology systems and support.

Representatives from District 214 received the award Oct. 29 at the National School Boards Association Technology and Learning Conference in Denver, Colo.
