Deer Park's community forum

The village of Deer Park will host a community forum attended by the village board from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11, at the Vehe Barn at 23570 W. Cuba Road. The forum will start with a welcome address by Village President Robert Kellermann, followed by a summary of recent community survey results at two breakout sessions for attendees to participate in. At each of the two sessions, attendees will have a choice of four topics - public safety with health and sanitation, parks and recreation, road and drainage, or finance with planning and zoning. The forum will end with a summary of both breakout sessions on all four topics.
