State ID can be renewed at ManorCare of Elk Grove this Friday
ManorCare of Elk Grove Village is partnering with the State of Illinois to offer the public a chance to get state IDs issued or renewed, as well as getting their drivers licenses renewed, without having to go to the Department of Motor Vehicles. The program is open to the public at ManorCare of Elk Grove on 1920 Nerge Road on Friday, Oct. 9, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The services are available to the rehabilitation patients at ManorCare as well as the public. Preregistration is not required, and anyone can take advantage of this program. Driver's license renewal fees are $5 for anyone ages 18-80, and $2 for anyone 81-86. The service is free to anyone renewing their driver's license over the age of 87. Five-year state ID cards are $20, and corrected ID cards are $10. Anyone over the age of 65 or a personal with disabilities can get a state ID card for free. Payment can be accepted in the form of cash, check and credit cards (except Visa).
