Missing Mundelein man found safe

A 20-year-old Mundelein man who was reported missing just after midnight Friday has returned to the area and is unharmed.

Brandon Kirchner-Weinfurter was last seen Thursday morning at his job at Libertyville Acura but did not return for a scheduled meeting that afternoon. His mother, Shelly Weinfurter, said he returned late Saturday. She said 600 hits were received after a notice was posted on Facebook and thanked local authorities and others for their help in the matter.
