Artists invited to design award

Open Door Clinic and Jeanne White-Ginder are looking for artists to submit their ideas and drawings of what the "Ryan White Humanitarian Award" should look like and what material it should be made from.

Starting in the fall of 2010, Open Door Clinic will produce the first "Ryan White Humanitarian Award Dinner." Who will be receiving the first award will be announced later this year.

All ideas and drawings can be submitted to: Lynne Kennedy, Open Door Clinic, 164 Division St., Unit 607, Elgin, IL 60120. Any questions can be directed to lynnek@opendoorclinic.org. The deadline for entrants is Nov. 1. The winner will be announced after World AIDS Day on Dec. 1. The winner will be given a stipend of $250, two tickets to the dinner and their name will be associated with the award.
