Troops love the goodies from Barrington

Thank you, Hollywood Video!

Many thanks to store manager Ralph Wright and the staff of Hollywood Video for their efforts to Support Our Troops over the past month.

Based on their work and contributions from the good citizens of Barrington, I was able to ship 70 DVDs and 14 pounds of candy and popcorn to the men of A Company, 1-506th Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne, 4th Brigade Combat Team serving at Forward Operating Base Airborne in Wardak Province, Afghanistan.

My son, who is serving as Fire Support Officer with that unit, has written to me many times to says thanks to the folks at home for remembering them and showing you care. They really enjoy being able to relax after patrols by watching movies and munching some popcorn!
