Let the holidays begin
Get a head start on your holiday shopping as more than 250 crafters and vendors display a variety of wares at Elk Grove High School's 27th Annual Holiday Sampler Craft Show.

Artists on parade
The "Arlington Artists on Display" art exhibit features the original works of 49 artists who live, work or enhance the arts within the Arlington Heights community.
1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Fridays through Sundays at the Arlington Heights Historical Museum and Heritage Gallery, 110 W. Fremont St., Arlington Heights. Exhibit runs through Sunday, Nov. 22. A suggested donation of $2 is recommended. (847) 255-1225 or ahmuseum.org.
Lobster love
See "Everyone's Favorite Lobster," a sketch comedy program focusing on friendship and the arrival of "everyone's favorite lobster" in the small town of Andrew Jacksonville. When will the lobster arrive - and why is he everyone's favorite - are two questions that can only be answered at the theater.
