Fears CN acquisition is boondoggle

Are we doomed to create this disaster again and again? Do people NOT realize that the acquisition by CN Railroad is another economic mess to be rescued by taxpayers?

This is NOT good for all ... if our economic disaster is proof of an example of how the greed of few will destroy most and then the many shall pay, the acquisition by CN Railroad is the exact same situation and we, the taxpayer, again will be forced to pay the price BUT WITHOUT GOVERNMENT HELP!

What are people thinking? There are NO regulations now or in years to come. No guarantee of numbers on any rail line, even those supposedly lightened by the change. No promise of realistic financial compensation. Communities will be destroyed and people don't see it. Big business greed wins again.

What is the purpose of any legislation body if big business rules them? Has anyone priced out the cost of even one crossing fixture? Wake up Illinois residents. You think you have to cover one bailout ... well another is right behind it!
