Pechloff, Montini conquer Everest

MADISON, Wis. - Brandon Pechloff threw 5 touchdown passes in the first half to lead Montini to a 45-20 nonconference victory against D.C. Everest.

Picking up the out-of-state opponent as a replacement for Driscoll, Montini (2-1) led 36-10 at halftime. Pechloff threw 3 touchdown passes to Jordan Westerkamp and 1 apiece to Christian Westerkamp and Nick Campanella before taking the rest of the night off.

Pechloff and Jordan Westerkamp tied an Illinois High School Association record shared by 11 others when they connected for a 99-yard touchdown pass.
