Relay for Life says thank you
On behalf of the entire Planning Committee of the Relay for Life of North Kane, I would like to thank the following sponsors for their generous donations and participation to our relay, which was held at Dundee-Crown High School on May 2. We send our thanks to Lynn McCarthy, principal, and the faculty of Dundee-Crown High School, ARAMARK Food Services, Otto Engineering, Advanced Roofing Systems, Chase Bank in Carpentersville, Service Master by Thacker, Gray's Travel, Van's Frozen Custard, Dundee-Crown High School's Art Club, Piece-A-Cake Bakery, White Cross Bakery, WalMart, Tim Kolbaba, Kay Teeter, CiCi's Pizza, and the Carpentersville Police and Fire departments.
We would especially like to thank Kenneth Arndt, superintendent of District 300, Andy Yuscka, West Dundee trustee and the VFW Post 2298 for their kind words and participation in our opening ceremony. We also thank Mrs. Bettcher and the Dundee-Crown Chorus for their beautiful rendition of the National Anthem.

Most of all, we would like to thank the participants and cancer survivors who have helped us raise over $14,000 for the American Cancer Society's cancer research and their many wonderful programs for cancer patients in our area. Thank you all.
