GOP leaders holding rally on Obama health care plan

Three congressional leaders are holding a DuPage County Republican Party health care rally on Saturday in Villa Park.

Rep. Peter Roskam of Wheaton, Rep. Judy Biggert of Hinsdale and Rep. Mark Kirk of Highland Park will address the GOP crowd to express their concerns about President Obama's health care proposal, according to a release from the DuPage Republican organization.

The event will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Odeum Sports and Expo Center at 1033 N. Villa Ave. in Villa Park.

The trio have held several town hall sessions in recent weeks decrying the President's proposed changes to the country's health care system.

The DuPage Republican Party will provide a simultaneous broadcast of the rally via the Internet at dupagegop.com, party officials said.

In addition to the three congressional leaders, a variety of other Republican candidates for various state and local offices will be in attendance.
