DePaul goes cold in loss

Dwayne Curtis scored 21 points, and Mississippi held DePaul without a field goal in the final 8½ minutes in a 69-63 victory over the Blue Demons in the San Juan Shootout on Thursday in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico.

Kenny Williams had 10 points and a career-high 16 rebounds, Chris Warren scored 11 points and David Huertas added 10 for the Rebels (9-0).

Draelon Burns scored 17 points, including 12 of 12 free throws. Karron Clarke had 11 points and 11 rebounds, and Wesley Green added 10 points for DePaul (2-6).

Pitt 65, Duke 64 (OT): Levance Fields hit a 3-pointer with 4.7 seconds left in overtime to give No. 11 Pittsburgh a victory over No. 6 Duke in New York.

Duke's Jon Scheyer took a running 3 and was able to grab the rebound and get off a final shot but it was another miss for the Blue Devils (10-1).

Fields, who finished with 21 points for the Panthers (11-0), hit all 3 of Pittsburgh's 3-pointers in the game.

Sam Young had 17 points for Pittsburgh, while freshman DeJuan Blair had 15 points and 20 rebounds.

Singler and Henderson both had 17 points for Duke, while DeMarcus Nelson added 14.

Clemson 90, Mayaguez 73: K.C. Rivers had 21 points and 11 rebounds to No.1 5 Clemson (9-0) beat Division II Puerto Rico-Mayaguez in Guayanabo, Puerto Rico.

Steven Ramirez led Puerto Rico-Mayaguez (1-11) with 21 points .

Miami 85, North Florida 63: Jack McClinton and Dwayne Collins each scored 13 points to lead No. 22 Miami (11-0) past visiting North Florida. Tom Hammonds scored 13 points for North Florida (1-9).
