Pastor breakfast will address issue of justice
Administer Justice, a charitable legal aid and tax service for low-income individuals, is hosting its annual Pastor Appreciation Event at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, at Judson University in Elgin.
With our churches and our country at a crossroads, Executive Director Bruce Strom will share how God's call for justice in a broken world can be answered through strategic partnerships. The church can play an important role in providing justice to the poor, but no single church has the resources to do this alone. Learn how the church can demonstrate justice to a community in need through a partnership with Administer Justice.
Invite your pastor to this free breakfast to explore this important concept. The breakfast is freely available through the generous support of Pluymert, Piercy, MacDonald & Amato, Ltd.; Mauck & Baker; Johnson, Westra, Broeker, Whittaker and Newitt, P.C.; and Mosher & Associates.
For information or to make a reservation, call Leah at (847) 844-1100, ext. 27, or e-mail your registration request to churches@administerjustice.org.

This year, they have assisted more than 4,500 people in need with the help of nearly 400 volunteers. The move to a larger space will enable them to more effectively fulfill their mission of administering justice through a comprehensive program of educational outreach, legal assistance, financial counseling and conciliation services to empower the powerless, give hope to the hopeless and show mercy and compassion to those in need.
If you are in need of services, or would like to volunteer your time to help others, call the office at (847) 844-1100, or visit AdministerJustice.org.
