Fawell's letter proves he still doesn't get it

I just read the article Scott Fawell submitted to the Daily Herald, and I have to say I am shocked by his lack of concern for anyone except himself and other corrupt political people. Mr. Fawell believes Chris Kelly is dead due to the mistreatment they both endured by our government and the U.S. Attorney's Office.

Mr. Fawell, after spending 6 1/2 years in federal prison, you actually believe that you were wronged by the government and the U.S. Attorney' office. You have to be kidding me.

You think it is ok to look the other way when high profile political people like George Ryan, Rob Blagojevich and too many more do unthinkable acts that endanger the very people who voted them into office and pay their salary, health care benefits, pension funds and anything else they need money for.

After 6 1/2 years you still don't get it.

You, Mr. Fawell mistreated and wronged the American people. You chose to look the other way and take money for your own self interest with no regard to anyone else when George Ryan ran the license for hire program.

Do you even care about the hardship, pain and suffering you caused the Willis family because you chose to allow George Ryan to sell licenses to people who had no business driving a machine that powerful?

Our government is corrupt because people like you and Chris Kelly refuse to stop the corruption before it even begins because you enjoy all the power and money you receive to look the other way.

Until all political figures stop allowing this corruption to continue, we will continue to read about all the innocent victims of your poor judgment and lack of concern for anyone but yourselves.
