Police investigating death of Park Ridge woman
Police are investigating the death of a 47-year-old Park Ridge woman after her mother found her face-down on the kitchen floor of her residence Tuesday.
Susan Buskirk, of the 500 block of S. Greenwood Avenue, was found by her mother around 2:20 p.m. after she came over to check on her daughter, police said.
The mother was concerned because she had not been able to contact her daughter for the last few days, police said.
The mother also told police she found the rear kitchen door open when she got there, police said.
Park Ridge police and the½ northwest suburban Major Case Assistance Team (MCAT) are investigating the death, police said.
An autopsy will be conducted today.
