Wild Gift projects, leaders focus for program Tuesday

Bob Jonas, Wild Gift's founder, and Gina Olszowski, 2007 grant recipient and author of "Now Coming to a Town Near You," will give a presentation on the Wild Gift program at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, at the Geneva History Center, 113 S. Third St.

Hear stories from Wild Gift leaders from around the globe and learn about their projects. Refreshments will be served.

The mission of Wild Gift is to give leaders, ages 21-30, the support to launch a self-designed project promoting the stewardship of wild nature and the development of sustainable communities.

It was founded on the belief that exceptional young men and women, who love nature and express their own nature, are needed as leaders. Whether they express themselves in industry, the arts, education, the environment or the professions, they are leaders who will work toward protecting wild nature and building communities whose citizens live in harmony with each other and nature.
