Governor can't address challenges

We support the efforts to remove Gov. Blagojevich from office.

The people of Illinois deserve and expect leadership that will address the enormous challenges we face.

The people of Illinois deserve dignity and integrity in elected officials. We believe the governor deserves a fair and speedy trial. However, Illinois must move forward to meet the needs of the people today. The alleged activities negatively impact the reputation and prevent us from working to solve Illinois' problems. Local social service agencies are stretched to their limits when the need is at an all-time high.

Sadly, Gov. Blagojevich is not able to provide such leadership.
