More government boondoggle?

For all of you who want a new health care system, who complain that it's broken, doesn't cover enough people, is to expensive and is bloated ... Well, it was set up less than 35 years ago by who? Congress, yes, Congress.

In fact, some of the very same members who created the one that some say is a broken, expensive, favors big business, was created with the help of Ted Kennedy, who before he got ill, was advocating the current health care program being pushed on us by this administration.

The current HMOs and PPOs were set up, we were told, to cut the cost of health care and to provide less expensive care and to provide quality health care to as many people as possible. So why, considering the track record, do we want them setting up another program that's destined to be another more expensive, more bloated boondoggle? Some insight, please.
