Obama fans should expect more vitriol

I greatly appreciate the letter from Thorn Randall because he gave me the excuse I have wanted to write to you. Mr. Randall and his political ilk are exceptionally narrow-minded and limited in their memories. I spent years reading letters in this newspaper attacking President Bush by using the same vitriolic poison that Mr. Randall is ridiculing and having even less factual basis! But that was OK because it was against President Bush.

Surprise, Mr. Randall, President Obama is not the god that so many narrow-minded individuals have made him out to be and the majority of today is rapidly awakening and rationally coming to that conclusion. The attacks are just beginning and your ilk are on the way out. Your ilk should be especially grateful for the repeal of your stated law for the years of popular hatred against President Bush. Literally years of hysterical scribbling were penned in attacking President Bush and you and your ilk were not criticized for expressing your opinion like you have so freely and vindictively done against Mr. Heuberger. I spent 22 years on active duty with the United States Army. The only thing that I have received from Obama and his administration is being identified as a terrorist. That's 22 years to keep your right to speak your opinion and 22 years for Mr. Heuberger to have the same right. But political hacks of your ilk have consistently demanded that the freedom to believe what you want to believe in this country is only for the radical left wing.

Surprise, Mr. Randall, those days are over. The silent sleeping giant is starting to awaken.
