Batavia varsity football to be on BATV
Batavia Access Television will be covering all Batavia varsity football home games live on Comcast Channel 17. Like its 2008 coverage, they will have a team of volunteers, staff and board members at each game manning cameras and directing the shoot. BATV covers all varsity Bulldog football games, home and away, with taped coverage of the away games and live coverage of the home games.
BATV has also secured the Comcast field truck for the home opener on Friday, Aug. 28. This provides BATV with four professional cameras, a broadcast engineer, and equipment to assist with the live production. BATV will also be using Comcast equipment at two additional home games this season, the Sept. 11 game against Glenbard South and the Oct. 23 game against Geneva, which is Senior Night. Kickoff for all games is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
The popular commentary team has returned again this year, with Dave Lundborg on lead commentary and Alan Wolff on color commentary with assistance from Jim Adamski on the field collecting stats.
