Drug bust in Hanover Park

A 50-year-old Hanover Park man was arrested after authorities said they recovered about 22 grams of cocaine at his apartment late Friday. Samuel R. Hernandez, of the 2400 block of Leslie Lane, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession with intent to deliver. At 10:45 p.m. Friday, Hanover Park police, with assistance from the Northern Illinois Police Alarm System Emergency Services Team, executed a search warrant and found the drugs and $2,100, authorities said. Hernandez is due back in court Sept. 10 in Rolling Meadows.
