Lee named to Daily Herald newsroom post

Ginny Lee, formerly Sunday editor at the Daily Herald, has been promoted to assistant managing editor for Sundays and planning. A nearly 25-year Daily Herald employee, Lee has worked in a variety of roles at the newspaper, including as a local reporter, metro writer, assistant city editor and weekend editor. In her new role, Lee will continue to share management of the newspaper's most-experienced enterprise staff, lead planning on major projects and oversee development of the Sunday editions, among other duties. "(Lee) is an outstanding journalist and newsroom leader with high standards and a commitment to the newspaper and to the staff members she mentors," said Editor John Lampinen.
