Supporters thanked for Bob Leonard memorial run

The Downtown St. Charles Partnership, the River Corridor Foundation and the planning committee organized another highly successful Bob Leonard Walk-A-Thon, this year featuring a 5K run, in St. Charles on Aug. 8. The Leonard family would like to thank everyone who participated, volunteered and contributed to this third annual event.

Our family was touched by the tremendous support of friends and community. We know Bob was with us all that day during the wonderful stroll and competitive run from Pottawatomie Park and along the St. Charles riverfront.

We are overjoyed and grateful that Bob's vision of a beautified St. Charles riverfront is becoming a reality. We look forward to continuing the Walk-A-Thon and 5K Run tradition in the coming years.
