Garden art in alley a charming surprise
Thanks for the background story about the garden art in the alley next door to Fuego Mexican Grill on Campbell Street in downtown Arlington Heights.
My friend and I happened upon the walkway while walking downtown before Monday's concert at the Metropolis. Bravo to Pamela Olin and Fena D'Ottavio on their clever use of art and gardening in such an open, public area.
The sculptures are beautiful and the whimsy of the cups, saucers and silverware is delightful. I felt like I was in an outdoor art gallery complete with plants.
