Shamrox swing deals

The Chicago Shamrox announced a pair of trades Wednesday.

One deal sent goalie Brandon Miller and a second-round selection in the 2008 entry draft to the Philadelphia Wings in exchange for goalie Matt Roik, defender Brad Self, a first round selection in the 2009 entry draft and a second round selection in the 2010 entry draft.

In the other trade, the Shamroxx sent forward Lindsay Plunkett to the Edmonton Rush in exchange for conditional third- round selections in the 2008 entry draft and the 2009 entry draft.

The Shamroxx also signed their No. 1 pick in the 2007 entry draft, Kevin Ross, and placed him on the active roster.
