Bonds indictment great for baseball

Your headline on Nov. 16 struck me as being way off base. "Sad Day for Baseball", should have read "Great Day for Baseball."

The ball appears to be rolling now and it's a travesty, it took this long to get to this point. Whatever that point is, the "ball" must keep rolling. It will allow the baseball fans to heal and move our ball to the next field, wherever that is.

Mr. McGuire was emotional during his testimony and I can remember thinking inside he wanted to scream out and tell everyone what he did. Shame on you, Mark McGuire, Barry Bonds and others; you're not bigger than baseball while some of your heads maybe.

Shame on you "Mr. Baseball," whomever you are, letting this drag on so long and making someone else heal your mess. Give us closure to put this behind us give us time to heal and move on.

Learn from the players. Make the "right thing" the "steroid." Learn from Mr. Pete Rose that the truth be told for the "right reasons" (which he didn't) and you'll see the "steroid" mess "heal" fast.

Mr. Rose has to deal with the decisions/lies he made for the rest of his life. Don't make us deal with your decisions for the rest of our lives.
