Los Angeles Galaxy at Chicago Fire
When: 8 p.m. at Toyota Park
TV: ESPN2
Scouting the Los Angeles Galaxy: A national TV audience and big crowd at Toyota Park will not see David Beckham, who received a red card Saturday, and they might not see Landon Donovan, who has swine flu. Eddie Lewis also will miss the game because of a red card for Los Angeles (7-4-10, 31 points).
Scouting the Fire: A busy stretch continues for the short-handed Fire (9-4-8, 35 points), which continues to chase first-place Columbus. Like Los Angeles, the Fire could give playing time to some unfamiliar faces; on Sunday at Kansas City, coach Denis Hamlett had to field a lineup more appropriate for an early-round U.S. Open Cup game.
Next game: Colorado at Toyota Park, Sunday 5 p.m.
