Listen in on school improvement process in Dist. 300

Parents and others in the community are invited to listen in Monday through Wednesday as principals in Community Unit District 300 present to the school board their plans to improve their schools.

All presentations will be made in the board room at the district's Administration Center's, 300 Cleveland Ave., Carpentersville.

After each presentation of a 2009-2010 School Improvement Plan, the principal will take questions and feedback from board members.

All schools in the district must go through the review process every two years. The board reviews half of the district's school's each year in rotation.

Here is when the presentations will be made.

Monday, Aug. 10

• 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. for Meadowdale Elementary School

• 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. for Liberty Elementary School

• 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. for Gary D. Wright Elementary School

• 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. for Carpentersville Middle School

Tuesday, Aug. 11

• 8 to 9 a.m. for Gilberts Elementary School

• 9 to 10 a.m. for Lakewood School

• 10 to 11 a.m. for Lincoln Prairie Elementary School

• 11 a.m. to noon for Perry Elementary School

• 1 to 2 p.m. for Algonquin Lakes Elementary

• 2 to 3 p.m. for Algonquin Middle School

Wednesday, Aug. 12

• 3 to 4 p.m. for Golfview Elementary School (changed from 6 p.m.)

• 4 to 5 p.m. Dundee-Crown High School (changed from 5 p.m.)
