Say hi to Hello Dave at summer concert

The St. Charles Park District and the Downtown St. Charles Partnership bring the summer Concerts in the Park series to St. Charles' historic downtown for families and friends to enjoy the great outdoors and some fabulous music.

Hello Dave will perform at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13 will be at the Lincoln Park Gazebo, located along Main Street between Fourth and Fifth streets.

One of the best bands to come out of Chicago, Hello Dave continues to spread their sound to fans across the country. Their ability to involve and connect with their audience has created an intensely devoted fan base. Playing a mixture of original and classic music, this band delivers entertainment at every performance.

This concert is free thanks to generous support of numerous local businesses. Bring your family and friends, lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy picnic-style offerings at reasonable rates from downtown St. Charles restaurants and local vendors including Domino's Pizza, Gramps Frozen Custard, Onesti Dinner Club and the Tap House Grill. Come out to the park early for better seating.

The final concert of the summer Concerts in the Park series will be Howard and the White Boys on Aug. 20.
