Riddell extends helmet deal

ROSEMONT - Riddell Sports Friday said it has signed a multiyear extension to its existing licensing agreement with the National Football League. Riddell, which merged its holdings with Easton Sports in 2006 to form Easton-Bell Sports, will maintain its standing as the official helmet of the NFL through 2014. Riddell has been the official helmet of the NFL since 1989. Riddell is entering its 20th year with the NFL.
