Lindenfest to start Thursday
The Village of Lindenhurst will host its annual Lindenfest starting Thursday, Aug. 13, and continuing through Sunday, Aug. 16.
Events include a carnival, food and retail booths, live entertainment, and a bingo tent. A parade will take place at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, with the theme "Enchantment Under the Sea."
The fest will be held on the village hall grounds, 2301 E. Sand Lake Road. Hours are 6 to 10 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13; 6 p.m. to midnight Friday, Aug. 14; noon to midnight Saturday, Aug. 15; and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16.
