Batavia business owners asked to take survey

The City of Batavia Economic Development Department is asking Batavia businesses to visit the city's Web site cityofbatavia.net/business and complete a brief survey.

The survey was designed to gauge how businesses are doing and how well the City is serving its businesses.

"As the city continues to expand its efforts in reaching out to our businesses and residents," said Mayor Jeffery Schielke, "we seek the business community's input to help us establish policies and programs and improve communications to help Batavia businesses succeed". The city council will use the survey input in its upcoming strategic planning sessions.

The survey is being conducted on a secure site and all responses will be anonymous unless respondents would like staff to contact them and provide their business name and contact information. Results from the survey will be presented to city council and posted to the city's Web site.

Participants are asked to complete the survey by 5 p.m. today, Aug. 3.
