Time to probe crimes of torture
I am quite concerned that our government take action against the individuals who wrote and/or approved the recently released "torture memos." How can we, as American citizens, stand by and allow high government officials to go unpunished for leading our country astray?
Finally, our president and members of his administration are going to abide by his promise to put in place a transparent administration. The evidence is too strong that wrong was done by high ranking officials of the Bush administration. What needs to be done is for a responsible independent prosecutor be appointed to conduct the investigation and prosecution of those who knew and authorized these crimes of torture.
