Aircell shuffles top positions

Itasca-based Aircell announced Friday the transition of Ron LeMay from chairman of the board to president and CEO.

Jack Blumenstein, current president and CEO, will assume the position of chairman. LeMay is a 38-year veteran of the communications industry, having served as an officer at Southwestern Bell, AT&T and Sprint.

Blumenstein has overseen the development of the Aircell Network and Gogo Inflight Internet service, as well as Aircell's airline partnerships.
