McCants can in North Carolina win; NCAA wrap

Rashanda McCants scored 18 points to lead six players in double figures, and No. 5 North Carolina cruised to a 99-64 win over visiting Georgia State on Monday night.

Cetera DeGraffenreid added 16 points for the Tar Heels (6-0).

Brittany Hollins led the Panthers (1-3) with 14 points.

Ohio St. 79, Southern 38: Star Allen scored 17 points, and Marscilla Packer added 16 to lead No. 15 Ohio State (4-0) to a win over visiting Southern (0-2).
