Government numbers just don't add up
When are the citizens going to finally wake up and use the basic math learned in grammar school to ultimately see the numbers the government is giving you just do not add up?
Most states, if not all, are facing severe shortages in financing. Increasing taxes is an almost guaranteed step in not getting re-elected, so cutting funds to programs seem like the only option left. But what funds do they threaten to cut?
A good question. To me it seems like government is a bully. If they do not get their way, they will try to scare you so they ultimately get their way. Instead of denying illegal immigrants the social services they are not legally qualified for or entitled to, we are threatened with cuts to our basic services. You know, stuff like fire and police protection, garbage removal and education, etc.
The amount spent on this illegal population is driving states into near bankruptcy, and no one seems to care. The government is basically telling you illegal immigrants are more important than your children's education and your safety.
The government, and the supporters of this nonsense, are clouded in the ever thickening fog of denial, foolishly feeling perfectly justified in their action, hoping their rhetoric will mask the facts that do not add up the way they would like you to believe, hoping the poorly educated population is just dumb enough to believe them.
